AND SO IT CONTINUES

October came and went and no work done. Was told that if and when a house became available in the vilage we would be in it til our work was done. Start of November (cant remember if just before or just after grandchild was born) there was a moonlit flit and no 29 became available. I contacted the housing office - as requested - and they said that it would be a few weeks - at least a month before they could do anything . No problems - what with christmas coming up etc. So it should be the start to mid of Jan we moved for the work to be done.

Still nothing and Feb was here - rang housing office - problem with the leccy meter - been waiting for it being sorted - they have had access since mid nov. ok - got the contrac tors to bring more boxes as the end was in sight, was asked if we knew when we were moving out - told them I didnt know. Would let them know when I did. Had a wobble last week with all the crap.
Tuesday this week - 19th Feb - got a call from the Council - the 3rd or 10th March - whatever was more suitable for me. I opted for the 10th. Would move out before then and be all prepared. Was told the keys would be brought to me next week - commencing 25th Feb. And arrangements made for the actual move of what we were taking . Still no-one from the council has been out to see me face to face.

Today , Thursday 21st Feb, Paul nipped into no 27 to let them know we HAVE a date. to be greeted with - nah - we have all the other work scheduled starting then on the next phase. Rang the council - chap I been dealing with not in til Monday so they suggested I contact the contractors. I did - they confirmed that the next phase STARTS ON 10TH MARCH and as far as they knew we werent getting renovated then. So who do I believe - who can I trust.

The answer is no-one. So much for moving me out to make sure my health doesnt suffer - what they have done is worse - they have caused so much stress.

I am betting that I will be told - on Monday , when this chap from the council is back at work, that well I did say it could end up being after the next phase is completed. Which will be JUNE or therabouts.
